Satwari police seizes 11 vehicles, challans two mini-buses

Jammu, Aug 24: Satwari police today seized 11 vehicles and also challaned two mini-buses under various offence of Motor Vehicle Act.
A police spokesman said that, in a drive against violators of Motor Vehicle Act/Rules, police party from Satwari Police Station led by SHO Hassan Kamaal laid a naka near MH Crossing.
During the vehicle checking, police seized two trucks, one Bolero car and 8 tractors, which were found violating the Motor Vehicle Act/Rules, he said, adding that two mini-buses were also challaned for over-loading.
Meanwhile, Satwari police also produced a burglar Pammy Kumar, son of Ram Bhajo, resident of village Sumb, Phlian Mandal in the Court of City Judge and was sent to District Jail Jammu.
He said that the accused was arrested by Satwari police few days back along with a stolen motorcycle.
