Save Sharda Committee Calls On J&K Chief Secretary To Discuss Teetwal Issue

New Delhi, July 29: Founder of Save Sharda Committee Kashmir Ravinder Pandita has called on Chief Secretary of Jammu and Kashmir Atal Dulloo to discuss issues faced by the public and tourists at Teetwal, an official statement said on Monday.

In a meeting held yesterday here, Pandita extended an invitation to the Chief Secretary for Sharda Divas at Teetwal which is on 11 September this year.
Besides, he presented a list of demands to Chief Secretary regarding issues faced by public and tourists at Teetwal. The demands include extension of National Highway to Teetwal from Chamkote, expediting the construction of the Sadhna pass tunnel, providing full-body scanner there, upgrading water and electricity supplies and setting up of Yatri Niwas at Teetwal.
The Chief secretary assured the committee that all issues will be looked into as a boost to border tourism, the statement said.
