JAMMU, Aug 14: Rashtra Bhasha Parchar Samiti, J&K, held a book release function at K L Saigal Hall, JKAACL, in which a Book, “Adi Granth Mein Sangit Savita” written by Savita Bakshi, former Special Secretary, J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, prominent artist, scholar and writer.
Her pervious book Sangit Savita was awarded by Hindi Directorate, New Delhi this year. The program started with Sitar Vaadan by Savita Bakshi.
Former Minister, S Rangeel Singh, presided over the function and spoke thoroughly on the book. He said that this book will inspire the new generation and youth in particular. Madam Savita Bakshi has done innovative research work on this topic and guest of honour Dr Arvinder Singh Amn, Additional Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages also spoke on the occasion and threw light on book and appreciated a lot.
Neeru Sharma, President of Rashtra Bhasha Parchar Samiti while welcoming the guest said that this a literary organization which is working for the promotion of writers of National and Regional languages and also encouraging the new aspirant by providing them platform. She also threw the light on the works done by Savita Bakshi and also appreciated the book at glance.
The introductory paper was presented by Kapil Anirrudh, which was highly appreciated by the audience. Dignitary and literary persons of the State were also present in the function who included Ch Hussain Ali Wafa, Prof Rita Jitendra, Dr Lalit Magotra, Jitendar Udhampuri, Dr Ved Ghai, Prof Rawal, S Didar Singh and S Baljit Singh.
