KATRA, Jan 28: Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has taken a new initiative of screening of live Atka Aarti telecast from Bhawan at the state-of-the-art 460-seater fully air-conditioned auditorium at the Spiritual Growth Centre of the Board at Katra.
The trial screening of the live Atka Aarti on the big screen of the auditorium of the Spiritual Growth Centre at Katra began last evening.
Considering the limited Atka Aarti space available at Bhawan, the Board has taken this initiative to provide the experience of watching the live Atka Aarti on big screen at Katra also for larger number of pilgrims visiting the Holy Cave Shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Ji. To begin with, evening live Atka Aarti will be screened in the auditorium daily from 6.15 pm to 8.15 pm and keeping the response of devotees in view, morning live Atka Aarti could also be screened.
Among those present on the occasion were Ramesh Kumar, Chief Executive Officer, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board; Dr Jagdish Mehra, Dy CEO; and Manu Hansa, Assistant CEO of the Board.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board said that this initiative is part of the continuing endeavours of the Board aimed at the larger facilitation of the pilgrims.
