SBI celebrates KYC compliance, fraud prevention day

JAMMU, Aug 1: State Bank of India, Hari Market branch, today celebrated KYC compliance and fraud prevention day in order to create awareness about KYC compliance, both among the staff and the public.
To mark the occasion, a ribbon wrapped across the board displaying the posters for purpose of creating public awareness on KYC and AML issues was cut by AGM of the Branch, SP Gupta.
Addressing the public and the staff, Gupta briefed about the importance of obtaining specified KYC  documents to the staff. A pledge has also been taken by all the members of the Staff on KYC compliance and fraud prevention.
Pamphlets were distributed to the customers present in the Branch for promoting voluntary KYC compliance.
Chief Manager of the Branch, Jagdish Kumar, requested the customers to cooperate in completing the KYC norms in respect of all accounts of the Bank and motivated all the staff members to involve themselves voluntarily in completing the exercise immediately.
