JAMMU, July 25: Under “Girl Adoption Scheme”, State Bank of India, Ramkote branch today distributed cheques among the five meritorious orphan girls.
The cheques worth Rs 5,000 each were distributed among the five orphan girls. These girls belong to BPL families and have been sponsored by Hari Prabhu Sanstha Nagrota, Gujroo, tehsil Billawar, district Kathua.
The cheques were distributed by BN Koul, Branch Manager, SBI Ramkote for continuation of their studies.
Among others present were ID Soni, Prof Sat Pal Sri Vatas, Jag Mohan Gupta, SC Gupta and staff members of the bank.
