JAMMU, June 14: State Bank of India (SBI) under its Corporate Social Responsibility distributed stationery items among students of Ved Mandir Bal Kendra, Amphalla, here today.
The stationery items besides eatables were distributed by the chief guest of the function, SK Kapoor, Zonal Head, J&K Module in a function organized by SBI, Bari Brahmana Branch.
Kapoor, in his address showed concern for the under privileged children and orphans of the society. He interacted with the children and staff of the Trust and promised to visit Bal Kendra frequently.
He announced that the Bank will provide financial assistance to the students regularly so that they are able to study and get proper education.
The students also presented a colourful cultural event on the occasion.
