JAMMU, Aug 11: Under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) State Bank of India (SBI) here today donated some things of daily use to Old Age Home at Ambphala.
The donated things included one washing machine, one water cooler, 12 ceiling fans, one deep freezer, 40 chairs, medical equipments etc.
A function in this regard was presided over by Secretary Old Age Home, Vijay Bhagotra.
All the donated items were handed over by DGM Ravindra Kumar Gupta and he said that SBI is proud to fulfill its role of CSR service as a Banker to every Indian and provide support by contributing to the senior citizens of the society.
Vijay Bhagotra thanked State Bank of India for showing their care towards the needy senior citizens of Jammu.
He said that this much needed donation will help Old Age Home inmates in their day-to-day needs.
