JAMMU, July 1: SBI Learning Centre, Jammu today celebrated Bank’s 60th Foundation Day.
As part of the celebrations they invited inmates of SOS Children Village (Balgran), Channi Rama, Jammu, for a free 3-day training programme by the faculty of SBLC Jammu for learning the basics of computers at their Learning Centre.
15 students from class 5th to 8th participated in the training programme, where they were taught basics of MS Word on the first day.
The occasion was graced by Arvind Priya, General Manager from Zonal Office, Jammu who interacted with the students and distributed gifts to them on behalf of the Bank.
Priya said that as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, the Bank keeps on organizing such programmes and will endeavour to undertake such activities in future also.
BL Jalali, AGM, SBLC Jammu and Asha Kumari, a teacher from SOS Children Village, were also present on the occasion.
