JAMMU, Oct 28: The triennial elections were held to elect office bearers of SBI Officers’ Association Chandigarh Circle.
As per a Association release, polling was held in J&K Module of SBI Officers’ Association on October 18,19 and 20 and 95 percent electorate caste their votes.
Counting was held at Chandigarh yesterday and Circle team led by Com DPS Chabbra as Circle president and Com D K Sharma as Circle general secretary were elected with overwhelming majority.
The J&K Module panel for J&K elected Hamid Budoo as Zonal president and Suresh Wali as deputy general secretary of the Zone.
The other office bearers of J&K Module team included Com Harinder Arora assistant general secretary and Com A P Jad as treasurer.
B K Koul and Shah Zaman Baqal, were elected as regional secretaries for region I, R K Pandita and Ajay Thapa were elected regional secretaries for Region II, M S Rana and Dushyant Sharma were elected regional secretaries for region III and Mohammed Abass Malik and Khursheed Malik were elected as region secretaries for region IV.
