JAMMU, May 23: State Bank of India (SBI), Branch Akhnoor, today organized a financial literacy camp at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys), Akhnoor.
The function was presided over by principal of the school, Baljee Thaploo and attended by students and staff members of the school.
During the camp, Chief Manager, SBI, Branch Akhnoor, apprised the students of need for savings and thrift. He also briefly described the details of the saving schemes to the students and motivated them to open saving accounts in the nearest bank.
The principal of the school appreciated the gesture made by the bank for creating awareness among the students about savings and thrift.
