SBI RSETI holds 10 day training programme at Pouni

REASI, June 26 : A ten day training programme on “Mouli-Making” organized by SBI Rural Self Employment Training Institute Reasi at Pouni with the help of BDO Pouni and Shri Gandhi Seva Sadan Jammu came to the conclusion today.
40 ladies derived the benefit by learning the skill of Mouli making which is bound to eventually engage themselves gainfully. At the Valedictory function, Mohd Lateef, Project Officer District Rural Development Agency [DRDA] Reasi distributed the certificates amongst the passed out trainees.
In his address, Lateef expressed his deep appreciation for SBI RSETI for having agreed to impart training to the ladies at their door step. While emphasizing the need for taking up constructive economic activities by the youth, he assured his all help to eradicate the menace of unemployment. The training was specially arranged at the incessant demand of local population, particularly, ladies of the area.
R L Lochan, LDM SBI exhorted upon the youth to come forward wholeheartedly and avail the benefits provided by the Bank and make their lives meaningful by setting up income generating self employment units.
Sandeep Singh, Secretary, Gandhi Seva Sadan, Jammu assured the trainees of his full support for marketing of their products and insisted on their focussed approach to work as there are ample opportunities for marketing of this particular product.
S K Kandroo, Director of the Institute said that by taking training to the door steps of the people, SBI has demonstrated its deep concern for unemployed rural youth and its commitment under Social Responsibility as a Corporate Citizen. He thanked Lateef and Sandeep for being instrumental in making this programme a success. He expressed special thanks to Suhail Ahmed BDO Pouni and his team for providing all the required infrastructure for successful conduct of this training programme. D K Khajuria BM, SBI Pouni was also present on the occasion.
NABARD and DRDA are also financing the training programme partially.
