JAMMU, Nov 29: A Supreme Court bench has cancelled the interim bail granted to Ranjodh Singh alias Nalwa in Narwal double murder case.
After hearing counsels for the petitioner, respondents and the State, Supreme Court bench comprising Justice H L Dattu, Justice Sadhansu Jyoti Mukhopadhaya and Justice Ranjana Prakash Desai vacated the interim bail granted to the petitioner earlier on the ground of his ill-health.
“The petitioner will now surrender before the Trial Court on December 4, 2013 without fail”, the Supreme Court said and directed the State and its authorities to give proper medical care to the petitioner based on the advice and recommendation of the Medical Officer.
