NEW DELHI: SC dismisses plea seeking SIT probe into an alleged caseof bribery in the name of judges.
The damage has been done to the institution by filing of such plea and unnecessary doubts were raised on its integrity said SC.
SC makes it clear that CBI’s FIR is not against any judge and neither is it possible to lodge it against a judge.
SC deprecates attempts made for recusal of one of the judges, says it is not proper and tantamounts to forum shopping. (agencies)
