SC refuses to intervene into gold hunt case

NEW DELHI, Oct 21:
The Supreme Court today refused to entertain a PIL seeking directions to deploy the Army in Gold  Hunt Case to avoid the plunder of gold.
The apex court refused to intervene in the case saying that this is not for this court to monitor such event and the administration can take appropriate steps as per the demand of the situation.
The digging of a fort in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh is on for the last four days under the supervision of 12 member-ASI team led by ASI deputy Director S P Mishra.
The digging started after a sadhu declared that he had a dream in which he was told that 1000 tonnes of gold was lying buried under the fort.
