JAMMU, Mar 31: Jammu and Kashmir Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes & Backward Classes Development Corporation has released a documentary film on success stories of this public undertaking.
In a function held at Corporation Head Office, Jammu, its Vice-Chairperson, Balbir Ram Rattan, Managing Director, Ravinder Kumar Pandita, released this documentary film along with Divisional Manager, Jammu, Gulam Qadir Khatana, Kashmir Divisional Manager, Arshad Majid Bhat, Manager Projects, Mohd Iqbal Kataria and Manager Finance, Anil Gupta, in presence of the Corporation officials. This 23 minutes documentary was later screened through projector.
Titled ” success stories of J&K , SC, ST, BC Development Corporation” has mentioned the objective of the Corporation, various welfare schemes run by it for the unemployed members of the weaker sections, the positive impact of the financial assistance availed by the beneficiaries and how the loan from the Corporation has brought prosperity in the lives of such people.
The documentary has the personal views of the loanees, who have set up their earning units and are also providing employment to other unemployed people, thus playing an important role in bringing prosperity for the weaker sections.
Vice Chairperson, Balbir Ram Rattan and Managing Director, Ravinder Kumar Pandita, on this occasion, said that the documentary film is a master piece and will surely make people in far flung and remote areas aware of the Corporation. They said that anything which is displayed in the form of audio-visuals, leave a permanent impact in the minds of the viewers and hence ” success stories of J&K , SC, ST, BC Development Corporation” will go a long way in reaching the genuinely deserving people.
