SC, ST, BC Development Corporation disburses loans of Rs 75.66 lakh

JAMMU, Oct 4: The J&K Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation has so far in this fiscal given loans in the transport sector to the tune of Rs.75.66 lakhs.
Dr Bharat Bhushan, Managing Director (MD) of the Corporation told that 7 vehicle loans has been advanced in favour of unemployed youth of the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes during the current financial year, aggregating to the tune of Rs 75.66 lakhs.
Today, the Corporation handed over keys of two vehicles to the unemployed loanees-one namely Puran Chand son of Sham Lal of district Reasi who has been given loan for Tractor-Trolley and second, Mohd Javid son of Babar Hussain of district Jammu who has availed loan for a Load Carrier-207.
Mohd Yaseen, Financial Advisor/Chief Accounts Officer, GQ Khatana, General Manager, Mohd Iqbal Kataria, Deputy General Manager Projects, Kuldeep Kumar, Manager (Legal), Joginder Paul, District Manager, Jammu and Sat Paul, District Manager, Reasi, were also present on the occasion along with the benefited applicants.
The Managing Director motivated the loanees to work for the upliftment of their financial position and status in society and live a dignified life there on. He asked them to be regular in repaying the loan installments back to the Corporation.
On the occasion, the Managing Director apprised that the schemes of the transport vehicles like Mini- Tipper, Tractor-Trolley, Load Carier-207, Auto Rikshaws and other commercial vehicles are available with the Corporation. He requested the target group people to come forward and avail the benefits of the schemes which are meant for them.
