MLA asks people to avail benefits

JAMMU, Mar 16: Jammu & Kashmir Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe & Backward Classes Development Corporation organized one day awareness camp in collaboration with National Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation Limited New Delhi, (NBCFDC) at village Dhanour ( Lakhanpur Kathua) today in which MLA Kathua Dr. Bharat Bhushan was the chief guest. A large number of people belonging to the area and adjoining villages participated along with Ex. Sarpanches / Panches.
Ranjeet Singh, Managing Director of the Corporation briefed about aims and objectives of the Corporation for providing loan facilities to the target group (down trodden) people for establishment of income generating units at concessional rate of interest ranging from 4-6 % interest. Further, providing of loan under education loan schemes for the students who desire to go for professional studies in foreign countries as well as in any part of India. The MLA appreciated the Corporation for organizing such type of camps in the remote / far flung area and advised the participants to avail the benefit of such schemes of the Corporation. He also advised Managing Director of the Corporation to organize such type of programmes in other remote areas also so that people get awareness about the schemes and avail the benefit of such schemes.
General Manager of the Corporation, Ghulam Qadir Khatana also briefed people and requested them to take benefits of the schemes of the Corporation. Ex, Sarpanch Rom Harshan Sharma thanked the authorities of the Corporation for organizing such type of awareness programme.
District Manager Kathua, Jatinder Singh presented vote of thanks among participants for their active co-operation.
Later on more activity was organised at Vishavkarma Sabha kathua in which MD Ranjeet Singh briefed the audience about the various schemes of the National Backward classes development corporation which are implemented in the UT of J&K by SCSTBC development corporation J&K in which large number of Sabha Members (Backward Community) participated along with MLA Kathua and other officers and officials of the corporation.
