JAMMU, May 8: Taking cognizance of a written complaint by a female scholar who alleged misbehaviour with her at the Central Library, Jammu University has constituted a three-member committee to look into the matter.
The committee, headed by a lady professor, will submit its report within a week’s time to the university for further action, informed Prof Pankaj Srivastva, Dean Students Welfare, JU.
The committee was constituted after a female scholar lodged separate written complaints with the Dean Students Welfare and Registrar JU alleging that she was misbehaved and harassed by some outsiders at the Scholars’ Section in Central Library this morning. She has also identified the accused in her complaint.
