JAMMU, Dec 16: The senior research scholars of Department of Dogri, University of Jammu today met with the Registrar, Prof MK Dhar and expressed their anguish towards false allegations being leveled by a candidate on one of the professors of the department.
The scholars in their representation to the Registrar demanded stern action against the people who are blackmailing the university authorities and pressurizing to take action against the professor.
Scholars apprised the Registrar that the candidate who leveled the allegations against Prof Manhas has never remained regular in the department. “From last two and half years she is doing Government job on permanent basis as a teacher and is disconnected from the research work. During these years she never showed any progress of her research and now just pressurizing the professor to do her work so that she can get promotion in her job”, they alleged.
The scholars in one voice said that such person be not given space who are demolishing the image of the university. They also demanded to deal with such persons with strict norms.
