Scholarship Google Venkat Panchapakesan Memorial Scholarship 2018
Description Google invites scholarship applications from to-becomputer scientists and technology leaders who want a leverage in the field of computer science and transform the system with their innovative ideas.
Eligibility Applicants must be currently pursuing graduation in comput er science, computer engineering or a closely related technical field.
Application Applications can be made online only, with submissions of two essays and a video of one-minute; a resume and two letters of recommendation.
Prizes and Rewards USD 750 will be given as tuition fees, book supplies and other equipment, USD 225 upon submission of a proposal towards building a local community in the areas of computer science and a visit to the YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, USA.

Scholarship: National Geoscience Award 2018
Description: Geo-scientists, engineers, technologists and academicians are called by Ministry of Mines, Government of India to promote their contribution in the field of applied or fundamental geo sciences, mining and allied areas.
Eligibility: The applicant can be an individual or a team who has given remarkable contribution in Mineral Discovery and Exploration, Mining, Mineral Beneficiation and Sustainable Mineral Development, Basic Geosciences and Applied Geo sciences, of age not more than 45 years. For Young Scientist Award, age limit is 35 years.
Prizes & Rewards: Varying cash reward of INR 1L-5L is being offered under this call.

Scholarship: Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarships for Undergraduates 2018-19
Description: To nurture healthy diplomatic ties with India, Japanese government is offering three scholarships for multiple under- graduate programmes for students to study in Japan, which will last for five years.
Eligibility: Candidates who have cleared class 10+2, willing to pursue graduation degree in the fields of Social Sciences, Humanities and Natural Science, holding student visa are eligible to apply.
Application: Applications are accepted online as well as offline.
Prizes & Rewards: 117,000 Yen p.m. will be awarded as stipend, full tuition fee waiver and round trip air fare will be provided to the selected scholar for the duration of five-years. Also, the candidate will be given Japanese language training.
