Scholarships distributed among orphan students

JAMMU, May 8: Mother Helpage Organization today distributed scholarships to orphan students to help them in their studies.
During a camp organized in collaboration with Swabhimaan Charitable Trust, Mother Helpage selected nine orphan students from poor families and extended them a scholarship of Rs 1000 per month till they attain the age of 18.
While speaking on the occasion, Vikram Malhotra, Chairman, Swabhimaan Charitable Trust said that the Trust will always encourage and facilitate any effort by Mother Helpage in extending its policies and programmes to the people of Jammu, which are for the benefit of poor downtrodden.
Rayees Ahmad, Sponsorship Manager for Mother Helpage while interacting with the parents of the beneficiaries said that Mother Helpage has a lot of  plans to help the poor and the under privileged in the State especially in Jammu Region and they will soon open an office in Jammu to reach out to the needy.
The beneficiaries of the scholarships were Aman Mehra, Rudrakshi, Naman, Prince, Anshika, Shivani, Sunidhi, Lakshya and Armaan Thakur.
Among othes present were Avneet Kaur, Project Coordinator, Swabhimaan Charitable Trust and Kritika and Arif, volunteers of Mother Helpage.
