JAMMU, Feb 25: A delegation of J&K School Education Department Clerical Cadre Association, led by Babu Hussain Malik, State president of EJAC (R) and Ansuyia Gupta, president of the Association, called on Director School Education, Jammu, Anuradha Gupta to discuss various issues of the non-teaching staff of School Education Department.
In the meeting, it was submitted that even after the lapse of more than two years, no DPC has been conducted and also no formal orders for placement of the Incharge Head Assistants against the vacant posts has been made. “Due to this approach of the department, the clerical fraternity is facing demoralization as they work even beyond working hours in the interest of the administration,” the delegation said and also submitted a memorandum of demands to the Director.
In the memorandum, the Association demanded DPC of non-teaching cadre, one time regularization of all Non-teaching officials working on own pay and grade, creation of Ministerial Cadre posts in all NES Zones, newly created offices of CEOs, Joints Directors and ZEOs, special quota for Secretariat Assistant Training, conducting Type Test for Class IV employees for promotion purpose, strict implementation of transfer Policy, revoking the order of conversion of 4522 Non-Teaching posts and repatriation of Lecturers/ Masters/ teachers working against the posts of Clerical cadre in various offices back to their place of posting for teaching purpose.
Those, who were part of the delegation, included Ashok Dhar, Mohd Farooq Bajran, Dinesh Gupta, Liaqat Ali, sham Parshad, Surinder Raina, Prem Lata, Tahira Yasmin, Rajesh Kumar, Ganesh Sharma, Vinod Kalotra, Nitin Raina and others.
