School Education Forum submits memorandum to DSE

KATHUA, Apr 25: A delegation of School Education Officers /Lecturers and Teachers Co-ordination Committee, led by its provincial president Amar Nath Thakur, submitted a memorandum of demands to Director School Education Jammu Simrandeep Singh during the later’s visit here today.
The memorandum demands regularization of all incharge  officers and lecturers, seniority benefit to all lecturers at par with their juniors, creation of human resource management (HRM) cell in the department for timely regularization of all cadres, implementation of rational transparent transfer policy free from political interference, starting  LKG and KG Classes in Government  schools, filling all vacant posts of Principals, headmasters, Lecturers, teachers, and Non teaching staff, release of salary under SSA, etc.
Director School Education, while responding to the demands, said that SSA salary has been released and pending liability will be cleared in the future. He said that masters under RMSA will be paid salary only after receiving the grants from the HRD ministry as guidelines have not been followed while implementing the scheme in the State by the previous regime.
The delegation comprised of Tarmani, Daleep Kumar Dhar, Surjeet Singh, Parveen Singh, Om Parkash, Mohd Sadiq and others.
