School found locked in Kotranka

RAJOURI, Sept 28: A Government Primary School at Ratti Bass village in Panjnara area of Kotranka was found locked today at 10:40 am on Wednesday.
No teacher or peon was present in the school and students were waiting in the veranda and some in the open outside. Locals told that no one is paying attention towards this serious issue and the staff members are spoiling the life of innocent students. Education department despite having huge man power and resources is not taking the matter seriously. It has creating great problems for the poor masses of the area.
BDC Member Kotranka Javid Iqbal Choudhary when contacted told that not only this school but Middle School Panjnara- 1 and Middle School Panjnara 2 are also under staff and staff is not attending school regularly due to which the future of poor children is at stake. He demanded that District Education authorities should take serious note of the matter immediately and necessary action against the erring staff members of above mentioned schools must be taken.
Choudhary hoped that Secretary Education, Director School Education Jammu and DC Rajouri will take necessary action in this regard at the earliest He added that the literacy rate of area is very low due to negligence and carelessness of the staff members of School Education authorities in Kotranka.
