UDHAMPUR, May 26: In order to check the punctuality and regularity of the teachers in schools of Panchari zone, a special drive has been started by Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Panchari Pawan Slathia.
During the surprise visit today in Govt PS Novel, the school was found locked and the students who had come to the school for receiving education had to go back to their respective homes empty handed and without mid-day meals due to the negligence and non seriousness of the teachers.
Taking cognizance of the matter, salary of Sushma Devi and Jyoti Verma, ReT Teachers have been stopped with immediate effect.
They were directed to explain their unauthorized absence from the school.
As per statement of the cook, Jyoti Verma had been absent from the school from May 23.
