REASI, June 6: In separate incidents, a school going girl was abducted while a young housewife was allegedly raped in her house at Mahore, here today.
Reports said that a girl student of class 10th was abducted by a local youth when she was on way to home from the school.
Identity of the alleged kidnapper has been established as Munir Hussain of Sakhi, Mahore. Police have registered a case in this connection and launched a hunt to nab the kidnapper and rescue the victim.
Meanwhile, a young housewife was allegedly raped by a youth who was staying at her house at a tenant in Mahore.
Acting on complaint of the victim, police have arrested the rapist, identified as Bunti Kumar of Akhnoor.
