JAMMU, Sept 30: Directorate of School Education Jammu has ordered change in school timing in Summer and Winter Zones of Jammu Division from first of October.
According to an order in this regard, all Government and Private (recognized) Schools in Summer Zone of Jammu Division shall observe school timing from 9.00 AM to 3.00 PM for the month of October 2023.
However, with effect from 01-11-2023, the school timing in Rural Areas will be 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM even as it will remain 9.00 AM to 3.00 PM for the schools within Municipal Limits, read the order in this regard.
Further, the Winter Zone of Jammu division shall observe school timing with effect from 01-10-2023 as 10.00 AM to 4.00 PM, says the order with a warning that any deviation to this order shall invite action against the institution, under rules in vogue.
