Schools face shortage of staff: MLA

BHADERWAH, May 13: Former minister and MLA Bhaderwah, Mohd Sharief Niaz has alleged that many schools in his constituency were facing shortage of staff and also lack of basic infrastructure.
In a press statement issued here Mr Niaz pointed out that Govt Higher Secondary Schools, Chilli and Inhara are without Principals for the last session. There is no clerical staff in these schools. Out of 14 posts of lecturers sanctioned for school, there are only 4 in place. No post of Islamic studies has been given in the area. Inhara Higher Secondary School lacks both in staff and infrastructure. He said same is the condition in Thathri and Bhalessa area. He urged the Chief Minister who holds the Education portfolio to look into the matter.
