JAMMU, Dec 4: Annual Science and Social Studies Exhibition was inaugurated in the May Fair Higher Secondary School, Chand Nagar by Rajesh Gupta, MLA Jammu East in presence of RS Jaswal, Joint Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, ID Soni, State Commissioner Bharat Scouts and Guides and Senior Journalist, Sohail Kazmi.
The Exhibition was divided into different sections. The History section depicted life right from the stone Age to the Ages of Communication and IT while science section showcased the different Indian Missiles, Thermal Power and Nuclear Power Plants, Plants life Cycle, Food Chains, Solar System etc.
The Geography section showcased realistic models of our world and the world beyond.
Models showcased Earth’s structure, topographical features of our planet, Volcanoes and Forests types.
Around 120 students participated from both the branches took part in the Exhibition.
Vijay Kumar Basur, Chairman May Fair Schools; Abhey Basur, Director May Fair Schools; Ranjit Kour, Principal, Saruchi Gupta, Ritu Banotra, Kamalajeet Kour and Neha were present on the occasion.
