JAMMU, Aug 1: For the better transportation facilities to physically disable persons Avtar Singh Shanty, Sarpanch today distributed specially designed scooties among two differently abled persons at Chatha Farm, Panchayat Ghar near here.
District Social Welfare Officer, Jammu, Ajay Salan along with his members Ravinder Singh Krishan along with Tehsildar, Manjit Singh and other locals were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Sarpanch said the physically challenged persons are facing many problems while travelling from one place to another. He said now the scooties will help them to reach their workplaces on time and also help them in other works of day to day life.
The scooties were distributed among one girl namely Pavneet Kour of Chatha farm and other Divanshu of Akkal Panchayat.
