SAMBA, Apr 9: A scooty rider was injured in a road mishap after a vehicle hit his scooty at village Barota camp area of sector Ramgarh in district Samba today.
According to the report, the mishap took place at village Barota camp area of Ramgarh Sector this morning, when a Brezza vehicle bearing registration number JK21E- 7688 moving towards Ramgarh from Rajwal, on reaching near Barota camp, suddenly hit the scooty bearing Registration Number JK21D- 7774 as a result scooty rider got injured. The driver of the Brezza car fled from spot along with vehicle, but some people brought the scooty rider to Community Health Centre Ramgarh for treatment.
After getting first aid, from the hospital the doctor referred him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for further treatment.
SHO Ramgarh, Chaman Gorkha said this afternoon a Brezza vehicle hit a scooty at village Barota camp Ramgarh and fled from the spot. In this connection police has registered a case FIR NO 50 under Section 279,337 against the driver of the car.
He further said that, soon police will arrest the driver and seize the vehicle as they are on job.
