JAMMU, Feb 21: All Senior Citizens and Pensioners’ Welfare Association (SCPWA) today celebrated its foundation day at its office chamber here in Shiv Durga Mandir, Resham Ghar Colony.
Pritam Dass Ghai, a senior most member and patron of the association, was the chief guest on the occasion while the function was presided over by association president, Dr Mohan Lal Gupta.
On the occasion, a meritorious student namely Vanshika Gupta, who got highest marks in the matriculation examination during the session 2015-16 in Ward No 13, was honoured with memento and cash award of Rs 500 by SD Thappa accompanied by NK Suri and Yash Pal Kapai.
The function concluded with vote of thanks by Suresh Kumar.
