Scrap factory raided

SAMBA, Sept 10: Four members of staff of Guru Kirpa Iron factory of Bari Brahmana were detained while one person involved in selling the stolen iron raw material to the factory was arrested by Vijaypur police which raided the factory on the basis of reports that stolen scraps are being sold to factory.
As per reports, the Vijaypur police led by SHO, Vijaypur Police Station, Chaman Gorkha under the supervision of SSP, Samba, Shakti Pathak raided the Iron factory after getting information that stolen raw material is being purchased by the factory.
During the raid police found 250 percent extra scrap in the factory than the records in the ledgers. The police seized all the records of the factory and has started the investigation.
Reports said that Akhtar Hussian of Ragoora was arrested who was in league with four staff members of the factory and was selling the stolen material to it through them. The police has put him on sustained questioning to ascertain the facts. It is also investigating the role of four staff members which too were detained for questioning.
