SCRC organizes health check-up camp

JAMMU, Apr 4: Senior Citizen Rejuvenation Centre (SCRC) here today organized a special Ayushman Bharat camp to provide free health check-ups and awareness about Government health schemes.
The camp was inaugurated by senior BJP leader, Rekha Mahajan.
The event witnessed the presence of several distinguished dignitaries, including SCRC president K.S Samyal; advisor, Shubchander Verma; chief patron, Ashok Gupta; vice president, T.R Puri and general secretary, T.C Taggar.
A team of medical professionals conducted free check-ups, offered consultations and provided information on healthcare benefits under Ayushman Bharat scheme.
Speaking on the occasion, Rekha Mahajan said that senior citizens are backbone of our society.
She said, “BJP-led government has launched various welfare schemes to safeguard health and financial security of the public and Ayushman Bharat is one of the most impactful among such schemes.”
The BJP leader stressed on the need to expand such outreach programmes to reach every senior citizen in J&K.
At the conclusion of the camp, SCRC leadership reiterated the commitment to continue such welfare-driven programmes for senior citizens in future also.
