SAMBA, Oct 29: Members and supporters of All India Confederation of SC/ST/OBC movement invited RK Kalsotra, State President Confederation at Katli and interacted with him for the success of the November 7 march to Civil Secretariat Jammu and on November 28, 2016 for holding of a big National Rally at Ramlila Ground New Delhi.
Kalsotra apprised them that it is all of them who will save their own rights and no one other will come to protect it. They all should apprise the poor society to come forward and out of their houses to support the Confederation to save rights for future generations.
He alleged that poor students are not getting timely scholarship, no commitment for filling up backlog whereas the educated youth is still wondering in the search of job, no assurances for adequate distribution of funds under SCP/STP. Even Government has failed to protect their own Laws meant for Reservation in promotions. There are so many problems of SC ST & OBC which compelled them to bring all these short comings in the notice of State/Centre Govt.
Dr Ranesh Kaith Joint Secretary Confederation said it is the duty of all those awared masses to guide others to come to attend the proposed programmes. Dr Bansi Lal, Qasim Ali, Omkar Chand, Bodh Raj, Prithi Lal, Ch Harun, Pardeep Kumar and Jaib Raj Badgal extended full support to the Confederation and assured mass gathering to participate. Girdhri Lal Pangotra Tehsil President presented vote of thanks to the participants.
