KATRA, Aug 1: A meeting of the Senior Citizens Welfare Forum (SCWF) Katra was convened under the chairmanship of its president Shiv Kumar Sharma which discussed the welfare activites of senior citizens and the requisite remedial measures.
In the said meeting two committees were formed which was further approved by the general body meeting.
The finance committee members included Shiv Kumar Sharma, Chairman, Rishi Ram Saraf, Puran Chand Gupta, Sardari Lal Dubey, Suraj Parkash, Romesh Chander Chowdhary, Rattan Singh Manhas, Om Parkash Magotra, Babu Ram Sharma, Sham Lal Paroch, Ajit Lal Sharma and Gopal Krishan.
The organizing committee members were Shiv Kumar Sharma, Chairman, Om Parkash Puri, Dr Hari Krishan Padha, Sukhdev Singh, Mohan Lal Sharma, Mubarik Singh, Sunder Dass Sharma, Vinod Kumar Kesar, Vinod Kumar Vaishnavi and Onkar Singh.
Shiv Kumar Sharma requested State Government to implement the Senior Citizen Act in our State as the same already exists in other States of the country.
