JAMMU, Apr 2: Station Director Railways Chetan Taneja today carried out surprise checking of Train No. 14033 from Jammu to Katra and realized fine of Rs 12,170 from ticketless travelers.
The surprise check carried out following reports that some persons were travelling without tickets from Jammu to Katra.
Taneja also inspected Katra Railway Station, where cleanliness was good.
He lauded the work done by Station Superintendent Jugal Kishore and CHI Parveen Kumar for keeping Katra Railway Station neat and clean.
The surprise checks of trains will continue.
