JAMMU, Oct 31: S D Tara Puri Public School, Gandhi Nagar organized Inter School Rangoli and Stitching Competition under the banner of Youth Talent Search Forum in the school premises here today.
The students of 10 prestigious schools namely Lawrence Public Panjtirthi and Sidhra, JK Montessori, Bikram Memorial, J K Police Public, Mayur Public, New Era Environmental, Alexander Memorial, Guru Gobind Public & S D Tara Puri Public School displayed their creative talent and beautiful rangolies were drawn by them.
Rangoli competition was adjudged by M K Wadhera (Indian Art Centre) and Shriya Sawhney Art and Craft Teacher. Whereas Stitching was adjudged by Sudiksha Sharma Fashion Designer and Rajni from a boutique.
In Rangoli Competition First prize was bagged by Police Public School Second Mayur Public School and third was a tie between by and Bikram Memorial School and Alexander memorial school. In Stitching mayur public school bagged first prize. Whereas second Bikram Memorial third were lawrence public school.
J&K bagged 2nd place in Speedball National held at Talkatora Indoor Stadium New Delhi. Aryan Kangotra (Class 9th) and Janvi (Class 7th) both won Gold medals under the guidance of coach Sunny Nanda.
Principal Neeru Puri and Vice Principal Saroj Goel were also present. Prizes were distributed among the students.
