JAMMU, Apr 8: In a function here today, the Skill Development Department (SDD) has collaborated with NIIT Foundation, New Delhi to provide latest cyber awareness skill development trainings to the students in various ITIs of J&K.
Om Parkash Bhagat, Director SDD J&K was chief guest on this occasion and he inaugurated the training sessions in courses-Artificial Intelligence, Data Fundamentals, Cloud Computing and Cyber Security conducted at Government Women ITI, Jammu in collaboration with NIIT Foundation, New Delhi and at Government Women ITI Bemina, Srinagar, Government ITI, Jammu and Government ITI Srinagar in the first phase.
Present on the occasion were Joint Director, G.M Bhat and Amandeep Singh, Head of the institution.
The programme equips learners with industry-relevant skills, exposure to digital technologies and practical experience to enhance their career prospects.
G.M Bhat, Joint Director SDD Jammu briefed on the activities and initiatives taken by SDD to improve quality training and skill in whole J&K.
He appreciated the efforts of Director SDD and highlighted the training curriculum of NIIT for courses like Cyber Security, Data Fundamentals, Cloud Computing and Artificial Intelligence etc which will help the trainees gain knowledge of modern technologies and have the opportunity to be a part of global workforce.
Amandeep Singh, Superintendent Women ITI, Jammu, Kartik Bhardwaj and Sunakshi Balgotra, Master Trainers from NIIT Foundation, New Delhi also spoke on the occasion. Nazir Ahmed presented vote of thanks.
