SDM Chowki Choura inspects Govt offices

JAMMU, Mar 19: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chowki Choura Virender Gupta today conducted a day-long tour of village Ghaar Majoor and inspected various Government offices and Panchayat offices.
The SDM was accompanied by Dr Raman Jandyal (tehsildar Chowki Choura), ADMO ISM, AEE PHE Mechanical and officials of PWD & RDD. He conducted a public darbar to redress the grievances on the spot, in which Sarpanches, PRI members and local villagers got requisite relief. Thereafter, he visited PWD Guest House Majoor, having been forcibly occupied by its land-donor, who was persuaded to vacate it. He also directed the accompanying PWD official to prepare a DPR of balance work to make it functional.
Gupta also visited Government Ayurvedic Dispensary, which too was occupied by its land-donor. He directed the ADMO ISM to make it functional from the next working day. The accompanying JE PWD/PHE was accordingly asked to complete the remaining work. During the visit, Panchayat Ghar Majoor was found to be in shabby condition, wherein concerned agency was exhorted to make it functional.
The SDM also visited Ward number 7 to resolve the issue of a link road of Majoor Paya. He also inspected the various developmental works of village Majoor. He visited PHC Ghaar to inquire about the balance work executed by the PWD. Gupta also visited the Panchayat Ghar, Ghaar and selected a room for Patwarkhana Ghaar-Majoor.
At last, he visited Government Primary School, Kanehri to resolve the issue of its playground and directed the BDO Chowki Choura to enclose the same with its boundary wall. He also distributed land passbooks among villagers at Kanehri.
