JAMMU, Dec 28: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Kalakote today convened awareness cum public grievances redressal camp at Borh.
The functionaries of Agriculture, Horticulture, Rural Development, Social Welfare, Child Development Project, Health & Revenue Departments were present at the camp and listened to the issues raised by the locals.
The team of officers also made the locals aware about different welfare scheme/programs being implemented by their departments.
The SDM also took stock of the grievances of the people and asked the concerned departments to take immediate steps to redress these on priority
He asked the people to avail the benefits of different welfare scheme being implemented for their economic development. He further said that more such awareness camps will be organized in the far flung areas of Kalakote to create awareness about the Government schemes among the stakeholders .
The SDM also visited Government High School Broh and reviewed the functioning of the institution. Zonal Education Officer ( ZEO) Kalakote was directed to constitute coordination committee involving the parents of the students to take steps for improvement of education scenario in the school.
