JAMMU, Sept 20: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Jammu North, Satish Kumar Sharma today flagged off Leprosy Case Detection Campaign (LCDC) Round 2.
The campaign was flagged in the presence of Arvind Kumar (Central Implementer for LCDC, New Delhi), Dr Jyoti Gupta (Zonal Leprosy Officer, Jammu), Dr Shahid Hussain (District Health Officer, Jammu), Dr Sushma Mattoo (BMO Kot Bhalwal), staff of SDH Kot Bhalwal, Asha workers and Nursing students.
The main objective of the programme is to screen and identify individuals suffering from Leprosy by door to door coverage. This programme is a steep jump towards “Leprosy Free India”.
