SDM North holds public grievance redressal camp

JAMMU, June 14: Mohd Alyas Khan, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Jammu North, today held public grievances redressal Camp at Baran in tehsil Bhalwal to take appraisal of the problems and demands of the people.
On the occasion, the SDM was accompanied by Tehsildar Bhalwal and all other officers of Department of Health, PWD (R&B), PDD, RDD, PHE, ZEO, and other officers.
The people apprised the SDM about various problems being faced by them, which included scarcity of drinking water, electricity, black topping of roads, damaged electric wires etc.
The people also raised the issue of damage of transformers in Chak Bhalwal etc and some other issues, which were resolved on the spot. The AEE PDD assured the public that the transformer will be replaced from 100KV to 250 KV at the earliest.
SDM Mohd Alyas Khan directed the officers of the Revenue and other departments present in the camp, to keep themselves available to the public as and when required by them and immediately respond to their calls regarding their genuine demands.
The SDM ensured the people that their problems will be mitigated within shortest possible time.
On the occasion 07 processing of DP files, 18 Income Certificates, 08 Category Certificates, were also issued to the public.
