JAMMU, Mar 21: Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) today opened an election office at Nanak Nagar near Danna Wala Gurudwara here.
The party president Dr Darakshan Andrabi, in the presence of SDP Parliamentary candidate for Jammu-Poonch constituency Gursagar Singh Isher inaugurated the office, wherein other party leaders, party followers and large number of prominent citizens were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Gursagar Singh Isher asked SDP workers to strive hard to uplift downtrodden and poor strata of the society. He also asked them to work for the unification, prosperity and brotherhood in the State as well as the country.
He said that SDP election office and party office will remain always open for the aggrieved person, adding that SDP is the only political party in the State which is holding moral grounds.
The policies of SDP encompass all walks of life. We have policies for youth, women, old-age, students and sportsperson covering rural as well as urban areas of the State”, said Gursagar Singh Isher, adding that all these policies are entailed in the manifesto of the SDP.
“We are confident that with the love and support of people, we will come to power and deliver our promises”, said Gursagar Singh Isher.
