SAMBA, July 9 : The police and security forces launched a joint search operation after getting an information that a local youth saw the movement of four suspicious persons in Khar village in Jatwal area of Samba district late last night.
Police said after a local youth saw the movement of four suspicious people of Chhan Kana village of Jatwal in the area, the police and security forces launched a joint search operation in this entire belt.

As per reports last night, a local youth Ravinder Kumar saw four suspicious people moving from Khar. Kumar said that he often goes to his fields at night because wild animals destroy the crop.
He added that last night around 12 o’clock he saw some movement in the fields and became suspicious. He stopped for a while and found four people wearing military uniforms were moving towards the Jammu -Pathankot National Highway in a suspicious way.
He immediately informed his family members, with whose help the police was informed. After the police got the information, a search operation was started by besieging the entire area at around 12.30 am, which lasted till Friday evening.
DySP Operations, Garu Ram was leading the search operation along with SHO Gaghwal, Rakesh Sharma, SOG, CRPF and police personnel carried out a search operation in all the adjoining villages, but they could not found any one.
SSP Samba, Rajesh Sharma said that police got a call at 12:15 am late in the night and the jawans reached the spot at 12:35am.  A search operation was conducted by the jawans in the village adjoining Chhan Kana, Jatwal, Balooni, Jatwal Nala, but no clue has been found yet. The search operation has been closed but all nakas were on high alert, he added.
