JAMMU, Feb 18: Security forces conducted search operation after a car driver claimed that three gun holding youth boarded his vehicle at Thandi Kassi in Rajouri district and de-boarded at Bhatta Durrian in Poonch.
The driver, hailing from Poonch, claimed that the armed men boarded the vehicle at 2 am when he was heading towards Poonch and de-boarded at Bhatta Durrian.
He narrated the incident at Surankote Police Station. Police parties swung into action and launched search operations at Bhatta Durrian and adjoining areas along with security forces.
SSP Poonch Rohit Baskotra, however, said, the driver appeared to be drug addict and he has admitted having cooked up a false story.
