SAMBA, Apr 12: Army, SOG and police jointly conducted a search operation in the border village of Maal Shah in Ramgarh Sector of this district after two suspects were spotted by a local person of the area yesterday. The search operation started last night and it continued today as well.

According to sources, during the intervening night, one Surinder Kumar, a resident of village Maal in Ramgarh sector informed Ramgarh Police Station that two suspected persons were spotted by him in the village.
After the receipt of the information, SHO Ramgarh, Chaman Gorkha along with police team immediately rushed to the spot and started search operation. The police searched entire area but no suspicious movement was observed and later the search operation was called off.
However, SSP Samba, Shakti Pathak along with security forces today again launched the search operation in the area and searched the entire village and its surroundings but no one was found. Later the search operation was called off as no suspect was found any where. However police and security forces are still maintaining vigil in the area, sources said.
