SRINAGAR, Mar 4: Security forces today cordoned off Mir Mohalla area of Tral in South Kashmir’s Pulwama district after inputs about presence of militants.
The cordon was tightened and the operation was put on hold due to darkness. The security forces believed that they have trapped at least 2 militants in the village. However, no contact was established with them.
It may be mentioned here that security forces have picked up over two dozen Over Ground Workers of Jaish-e-Mohammad and its symapthizers in Tral area after attack on CRPF convoy on February 14.
