NEW DELHI, Jan 2: Kishmish prices were up by Rs 100 per 40 kg in the national capital today on the back of increased buying by retailers and stockists on pick up in demand from bulk consumers.
Further, tight stocks following fall in supplies from growing regions also supported the uptrend.
Kishmish Indian yellow and green prices rose by Rs 100 each to conclude at Rs 4,000-4,500 and Rs 4,000-7,500 per 40 kg, respectively.
Marketmen said increased buying by retailers and stockists against restricted supplies from growing belts, mainly pushed up kishmish prices.

Almond (California) Rs 20,500, Almond (Gurbandi-new) Rs 10,100-10,400; Almond (Girdhi) Rs 6,800-7,100; Abjosh Afghani Rs 15,000-20,000.
Almond Kernel (California-new) Rs 735-745 per kg, Almond Kernel (Gurbandi-new) Rs 770-840 per kg. (PTI)
